While the period from July 15th to October15th, 2000 the International Women's University (ifu) has offered more than 900 female students from all over the world the opportunity to participate in a postgraduate research and study program in Germany at several locations. ifu's first semester offered interdisciplinary academic work in six project areas: body, city, information, migration, water and work. The venue of the project area water was Suderburg and it's University of Applied Sciences. Click here to see the ifu students at the welcome party in front of the university's cafeteria.

wifu (water ifu) is a part of the vifu (virtual ifu) which is preparing, supporting and extending the ifu on the internet.
